100mph bass boat in 2 seconds

Had the chance to ride in a bass boat that could go a 130mph wide open. I’m at Dream Strike Lake in Mississippi and it was a blast.

@roberdave More like it, fast Allison, buddy is brave without lanyard or lifejacket at those speeds. Sounded great.

  • FZ104YAMAHA:

100 mph in 2 seconds come on get real, maybe 60 to 70 in 2 seconds.

  • Iriesushi:

Great boat……..but 100 in 2 seconds? You should be a politician!!

  • Iriesushi:

100mph in 2 seconds……dude, your giving Allison owners a bad reputation. It takes my Allison about 12 seconds to get to 100. Why don’t you race it in OBDA or DSRA and show us your time slip to prove it?

  • croozin2:

@gilisfloyd Ding ding – WINNER!!!! I raced boats for many years and NEVER did mine fire off without a Lifeline jacket on and the kill lanyards attached (ignition and fuel pumps). When you have to fish your friends out of the water with broken limbs, it’ll make you think twice. Rodney may have had a few canned testosterones that day. Hope he uses better judgement in the future. Nice Ally to be sure though. 120mph? eh…………….

  • john4utvols:

First time in an Allison with a small prop and a 260 feels like 100 in 2 seconds, If you never tried it, look for one on your local lake and ask for a ride, but wear your safety gear, water hurts at 100.

  • metalica914:

that shit goes fast and how mush horsepower is in it but its got to be a v8 cuz nothing can go that fast if if it had a v8 or somthing bigger

  • TheBasspro96:

    Nice boat…Too fast lol

  • boatbros23:

what kind of motor and how many hp?????

  • yoda12145:

Enough compartments my ranger doesn’t even have that many..

  • TheStratos04:

your not hitting 100 in three seconds… more like 60mph…drags boats are lucky to get it in three..srry nice boat though

  • gilisfloyd:

nice boat, just wondering where your life jacket connected to the kill switch is? nice boat though..

  • revosurf:

Bullshit!Claim that by a jetski may work better,at least the weight/HP is better

  • sherrietahoe:

you guys need to quit trying to bust balls i am sure he had a great time riding in this guys boat wether they went 20 or a 100 good video you need to take a ride in a stoker bass boat they running close to 120

  • roberdave:

It is what it is…I’m not a speed boat guy nor claim to know anything about it nor be apart of their club…Just posting what I saw…98 mph on the 3rd run…and he does compete in speedbooat races in the mississippi area and its a modified bassboat. As for for BS, call it whatever…I didnt know youtube had “bs” team…no hard feelings…

  • canoetaco:

96 That’s more like it. Top speed of that boat is unreal 130, wow.

  • roberdave:

LMAO, ok you got me 96mph….

  • canoetaco:

2 seconds and 100 MPH? I need your drugs. COUGH cough BULLSHIT another youtube lie.

  • kingduleurre:

    kit nitrous on bass boat!!!
    amazing

  • cjdaddy43:

Kill the frigging music and lets hear the motor!

  • roberdave:

THanks for clarifying…and yes it might not have been 2 seconds but damnit I was one scared mofo…A very sick boat!!!!

  • rusrog:

LOL! I happen to have seen Rodney make MANY passes in this rig. The boat is a true hitter in Lake Racer Competition and the owner is one hell of a good Allison driver. But 100 in 2 seconds is a bit rich. The boat will run in around 100-105 in the quarter with the weight in it for competition. Pretty tough!

  • cooleb:

    maybe in km/h

  • propman4:

I know first hand that if you are going to show Videos of fast boats here on the tube that wearing and using safety gear is highly recomended. No mater what! Lets all promote safety.

  • greensidenavy18:
