a bass boat is a speed boat. Also, i dont get it! Bass boats go in the 70′s and allison’s or bass cats are in the 80′s. This boat is a slug. Ranger does make nice boats but champion boats are the leader hands down.

ROFL. Expect a speed boat and you see a bass boat coming.

Thanks for sharing and have fun!

Ranger Boats Best ever made period!

No modification. Its a factory equiped boat and was listed in Ranger’s catalog. I was told you could special order one now, but not sure. So far I have it running in the low 60s. It porpuses alot below 35 mph. Over 35 and it settles down. I don’t have enough experience with other boats to be able to compare hole shot, but it is a lot of fun.

    WOW……………….
you’re the man for that mod.
    top speed?
    how does it handle?
any cons in the hole performance?
    wow again man.

I have an 85 395v with a yamaha 220 outboard. I run a 23 pitch pro series prop and have no gps but have outrun many waverunners gps at 60 mph. It is alot of fun to have them pull up beside you and you can pull away from them.
