at lakes with lots of floating weeds and shallow waters near shore is there bass there? ive been fishing at this spot with those conditions and cath little to none bass and they are small ones… and wen im looking for new spots wat type of water conditions should i look for? how should the water look and wat type of vegetation or how should the lake bottom look like from shore….. i shore fish for bass… i dont own a boat

there are TONS of bass there during feeding time, which is when the sun is falling.
as the sun is going down cast lures as far out into the lake as you can, use topwater lures like, shad rap, skitterpop, jitterbug, hulapopper, and make them splash as you reel in, you will get an insane amount of bass jumping outa the water and grabbing your lure, keep fishing like this until about an hour after sundown, than bring out the night crawlers.
In the spring and fall you will have better shore luck because bass are shallow all the time, however in the summer it will be harder because bass move to cool, deep waters. This being said though, bass don’t stay down there all the time, they come shallow to feed in the early mornings and late afternoons, low light periods, you may have better luck then.
In spring look for rocky, dirty water areas for they will be the warmest water in the lake.
If you are in the south try to find some deeper waters you can reach from the shore or a dock because bass are already in summer patterns. If you are up north fish in shallow bays or areas that go from shallow to deep because bass may still be transitioning out of the spawn.
