Speeding down the Lake in a Bass Boat. The bass boat is a 2000 Triton TR-186 with a Johnson 150Hp. The boat was loaded with stuff and gas. We hit 63MPH but if the boat was empty with a few gallons of gas I’d hit 64Mph.

ive had a lot of engines on various boats, even a v8 inboard, but i gotta say my FAVORITE engine was our johnson outboard, that big inboard v8 sounded good but sucked down entirely too much gas and didnt even get the big boat going as fast just cause the boat weighed to much lol.

You buddy needs a Jack Plate…it will definitely increase performace on plane.
your claiming no load and light on gas 69 mph my bud has a 99 180 premier triton with a 150 johnson and low 60′s is all he can get u need to gps that thing dash speedo’s arent useally accurate anyhow

that point is full of big bass, it’s called Buck Point.
As I turn I’m riding over a shallow shoal at that point, It always has big Smallmouths there, great spot at sunset.
