Bradenton, Florida….anyone know of any good spots to fish for redfish or freshwater bass with boat?Thank you?
I am visiting Bradenton, Florida today and tomorrow and want to go redfishing or bass fishing without a boat….please help if you can.

Go under a local bridge or look for spots with other fisherman, I catch a lot when I go to Fort Myers that is just south of where you will be going. Use shrimp or squid for bait. All the water is salt/brackish in the area so freshwater bass won’t be an option. Good luck man!
try wading out to the sand bars near the sky way bridge ,just keep an eye on where yo step sting rays are common here .if you do happen to see a sting ray stay still and you will be fine.
be sure to take your catch to shore though sharks ar not as common during day they are still around
don’t go out on the grass beds be for dawn and be off by dusk as many of the sharks are more active at nite
try the peir out to the ana marie island as well
as curtis said shrimp and squid are exelent bait
for fresh water you will need to go inland ,i believe there is a fishing area at miatica st park
Check on the Ultimate Fishing Directory (www.ultimatefishingdirectory.com). It lists out guides and charters in its own section and you can search by city/state to easily find them. You might be able to find some good places or people there…
