  • kingviz1:

    MFGs are good boats!

  • jewelrycasa:

This Chrysler engine has been a tough engine and always starts. Even at my altitude of 5200ft above sea level. 85hp out to be a pretty fun ride.

  • jewelrycasa:

Gotta get that Merc on the water before it’s too late. go go go….Ha ha…

  • jewelrycasa:

the boat is a 1977 MFG Super Bass. The motor is a 1975 Chrysler 105.

  • jewelrycasa:

It’s a little hard to see the 4th spark plug inside the bottom tray. This motor runs really well – and is pretty loud outside of the water.

  • nitehawk85:

That looks very familiar! I have an 82′,85Hp 2stroke,3 cyl. So this is my engine with one more cylinder and 20 extra horses. This looks almost identical to mine. I have owned my ole chrysler since 1989! and its still on the back of our “Fiber Form” fish/ski and is still going strong!!

  • DarrenCax:

Sounds rather quiet compared to my ’69 Merc 80HP. Hmm… I should crank her up this year.

  • jujujus2:

    nice..what year is it?

  • reffup:
