He wants me to go fishing with him?

my boyfriend bought a new 27 foot fishing boat 3 years ago and have been begging me to go out with him and his friends. They go bass fishing mostly but also go ocean fishing for rock cod. I am scared of boats and being out in a body of water with nothing around. I also don’t like killing fish or seeing them in pain and I never eat any of the fish that they catch. He wants just me and him to go out on Monday and he’s counting on me to go. He even told me that he’ll put on my life jacket and other floating devices if that would make me feel better before we leave. How can I tell him in a nice way that I am not interested?
I did get to name the boat and he had it added to the back of the boat. I named it “The Bass Hooker”.

If you do end up going be careful that he won’t throw you over. J/K. LOL!! Seriously, a relationship is about compromise. No one is asking for you to love what he does but it would be nice for your significant other to at least try other things with their partner. Look, give it a try, it won’t kill you to make him happy for a few hours. Good Luck.
you should go out with him. I was also scared to go out on my friend’s boat but he made me feel so safe when I first went out. it took me a little while to get use to it but I go out with him every weekend now and enjoy it. You might like it so give it a try
By the way I like the name of the boat heehee.
Tell him you’re afraid of being on the water and you cant handle it. Ever. Tell him you’ll pack him snacks, and be there when he gets back.
I sail and lots of people feel this way, its not wrong, its just you. No worries.
