    If you look at most of the boats that are being launched, from the white river down past Memphis, the smallest you will see is 150HP. Since most of the fishing along this section of the “Big Muddy” for Bass is in the back waters, not in the main river. I don’t think you would need much larger, say in the 225 range. I hope this helps.

    is it *really* a bass boat if it has less than 250hp? LOL

    you could get by with a V4, but at less than 200 you’ll be disadvantaged in a tourney.
