i’m looking for a bass fishing club for poor folks in tucson az?

i love fishing and would like to get into a club in tucson. i don’t own a fancy boat because i’m a poor hard working man.i own a 1960 boat that i have rebuilt. i find allot of clubs have there noses in the clouds. just looking for the “good ole boys” to chat with and maybe share some lies i mean fish stories with. any ideas?

You don’t have to own a boat to enjoy fishing. I fished out of a 12′ jon boat for years. and more trips with NO boat than with one. A pair of rubber boots or waders…a machete and a creek bottom full of beaver ponds are some of my best bass fishing trips.
If you wanna get in with a club or just hang out with guys like yourself go to your local baitshop or marina…take that old boat and use it.
I won a tournament one year with my old flat bottom. Got some funny “kiss my asss” looks that day, but it ain’t about the boat.
After that, I had plenty of offers to “let’s go fishin” followed later with… “by the way, where’d you catch that 14 pounder at..or what’d you catch him on?”

That is one of the most irritating things about some fishing clubs. I say start your own for people who rent a boat like I do or fish from the bank.
