New Mexico Bass Fishing?

Can you catch bass from the shore at elephant butte or do you need a boat? is there any good fishing spots u can reach without a boat? if not does anyone know any lakes in new mexico where you can catch bass without a boat?

i’m guessing that you don’t have a boat
well im not from nwe mexico, infact im no where near it… but 99% of the time you can catch fish without going on a boat. infact when people fish on a boat they fish right on cover, which most of the time is right near the shore. so just figure out what lures work well there, or just look for any visible structure like weeds, lillie pads, trees, etc.
