Nitro Z-9 Performance Bass Boats

Take a look and see why Nitro Z-9 provides the ultimate fishing experience, no matter what level angler you are. More info at www.nitro.com
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Our bass boat running on a dam with 1-2 foot waves (larger around the point) at over 75 MPH. Weyre still battling to find a decent prop for the boat to get another couple of MPH out of the Zee Machine. It was also extrememly hot (100 degrees F) and humid, bringing performance down. More and more profesional vids to follow :) tight lines.

  • pyxiefrog124:

I couldnt even offord the gass to drive it

  • rcrocker02:

bass pro shop usually runs some pretty decent specials, otherwise youre better off trying to just find a pretty good used one for a lot less. just make sure its in good shape though, not needing a bunch of work, check the bottom for cracks or chips, also the sides, also look inside EVERY compartment of the boat and look for cracking, peeling, or chips, this may be signs of problems or accidents, damage, etc. should start easily too. also inspect the trailer and tires/axles and the crank.

  • rcrocker02:

theyll do pretty good in rivers, they can handle almost any conditions, theyre tough and versatile.

  • cachurras:

I love bass fishing and i have plans to own a nitro bass fishing boat but i know that the payments are alittle bit high doesy anyone know how i can get spacials on a nitro bass fishing boat and what to look for in a boat thanks .?

  • pp2211:

can the nitro boats go in rivers because the nitro boats look small and id like to know if they can survive in current

  • pyxiefrog124:

I couldnt even pay for the gas I’ll stick with a jon boat

  • MrBuckeyeater:

Thats not ture if the boat cost 39k used…. and 40k new i’d pay 40k new…. nothing holds it value except maybe realestate, in a good market

  • HighJacker99:

u do have a point that is why i went with the z521

  • AAav8or:

Not for a Ranger MultiSpecies boat. It is worth every nickle and it will hold it’s value year after year.
Superb, superb boat. Take it out on any water and you’ll never have a waves issue.

  • HighJacker99:

There’s only one type of desgin nitro does have that ranger, triton and all of the other boats don’t have and that is the Center Dual Console desgin.

  • topwaterpros:

50g that is a little over priced you think?lol

  • fortaaron:

nitro is a great boat but the hulls r shit, i tell ya i know i guy who went on 2 foot rollers with his and cracked the hull, then he went to a ranger, i tell ya the hulls r not made for rouph water

  • dupobasscat:

u guys have to be kiding me! seriously u have to know that nitro is one of the cheapest made over priced boats on the market! can u say mass produced! corner cutting son of guns

  • AAav8or:

What I said about Lund was NOT intended to infer that they make bass boats….truth be told, you do not need a bass boat to catch bass. I do it every day in my Ranger Multi-species boat. But QUALITY of construction is evident in all those boat brands….Ranger, Champion, Trton, and Lund. Actually….Lund makes superb craft.

  • rangerbass519:

Lund? they don’t even make bass boats!

  • SkyHawk024:

eh i have seen bass cat’s out do these thing by over 60 mph bass cats are power bass boats bassicly they rock!

  • WheatThins1:

lol this guy dosnt know how to take care of a boat look at that waterline thats just horible

  • rangerbass519:

Piece of junk buy a ranger.

  • AAav8or:

Oh….absolutely. The guy is a heck of a nice fella ! Met him once by chance when I was buying my Ranger 620. GREAT and very friendly guy.
He can really fish largemouth too.

  • rangerbass519:

    Amen Man

  • rangerbass519:

Sorry but I have a better time in my ranger then I did in my 14 ft alumacraft. But to each is own.

  • xSPORTSMAN1993x:

LOL he carries an extra trolling motor, he also uses the 101 ft. lb. thrust trolling motor not the 82 ft. lb. one those are like $1500 and he has 2 but its not like it matters to him he gets paid to use them and really how many people carry like 40 rods in their boat at one time, I can see 15-20 but 40 is just extra weight

  • krismoore1984:

kvd, is the tiger woods of fishing I got to meet him at the battle on the boreder at lake amsistad texas, he is the coolest guy to talk too,

    work hard fish harder kris

  • NBaimf:

How about if you just put on a pain of jeans, a t shirt and get in your 14 foot Alumacraft with a 15 hrs. and go have a good time fishing and enjoying nature instead of dressing like a clown and being a yuppie goof ball.

  • RG321F:

Inanda is in KZN, about 60km from the coast. it is at around 78m if i remember correcty. I dont live down there though, im from Gauteng so thats where the boat runs and is set up for. pink slips race?

  • RG321F:

Hey man, thanks for the advice :) we’re lucky that we have a few friends with a ton of props lol so we’re just gonna go to the lake one day and just try some diff props :) best we’ve had so far is the tempest but we’ve got a Fury on order. It gave one of our friends 5mph immediately when he tried it on his TR-21 so we’re looking forward to trying it :)
Tight lines, screemin reals adn thundering runs :)
    Charl

  • sixstringx2:

you need to get a private.. non comm. prop maker.. not Merc. and you’ll get at least 10 more mph.. or better.. check out the states props .. tempest.. etc.. but let me warn you , you can accumalte a lot of props.. pick one you feel safe with at the performance your looking to acheive.. good luck and be SAFE

  • RG321F:

NEW VERSION OF THIS VIDEO UP :) Check it out….awesome :D

  • driver150:

    great video,

  • RG321F:

Thanks man :) we just ordered a new prop from Merc. The new Fury :) should put us in the mid to high 70′s :)

  • RG321F:

    Hahah thanks man :)

  • RG321F:

Its Inanda Dam :) in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa :)

  • rcrocker02:

find a racing prop, and have the edges professionally sharpened, thatll get you going a lot faster…made a HUGE difference on our boat…the blades slices through the water a lil easier and the curvature of the blades on a racing prop give it a LOT more thrust.

  • Eagle971:

I like my slow fat bay boat.. but nice vid.

  • arg77arg:

    what lake is that?

  • RG321F:

hahahha….we would blow the motor spinning such a small prop…23 inches is too short and aluminium props dont give enough grip and you risk losing blades lol. :) thats crazy though lol :P awesome :P 83 lol Thanks for the comment dude :)

  • RG321F:

    Yeah. Yamaha VMAX 300 HPDI

  • mudnjeep44:

a 23 pitch prop Aluminum should be perfect for that. thats what my buddy runs on his 250 optimax and it took him a year to figure it out LOL we hit 83mph was the fastest with GPS cordinates

  • rochesmk:

    I love bass boats

  • jcog92:

i was on a 34ft fountain center console with triple 275′s and it did 75mph, we only went 65, but it was raining and the rain felt like bee stings so i wouldnt want to run in that bass boat if it was raining

  • madMAVSfan:

Didyou say it was a 300

  • AuronVar:

    Wow, thats fast!

  • RG321F:

Depending on altitude and load anything from 73 up to bout 76 atm loaded. Still looking for the right prob. Should get it up to 80 soon :)

  • RG321F:

Thanks man :) Haha yeah 300 horses gets you places ;) its not the fastest boat on the flats but it kicks anything through rough water… :) rock on man

  • TULANCHAX:

    mph???¿?¿?¿???

  • rockisnumber1:

man that is one nice boat i bet that thing has some major horse power i bet u beat every body else to the fishing spot nice video.

  • RG321F:

HAHAHHA lol yeah dude…gets quite hairy… lol… i was at the Federation Champs down in florida in november. I was an observer on one of the boats. A guy got hit in the head by a duck at 70+mph…the duck then bent the flag pole on the boat and carried of flying lol

  • startwiththeballs:
