Cory Shane Landrum, a resident of Satsuma, AL, born August 25, 1989 left to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2008. Cory lived his nineteen years walking on this earth with a Rod and Reel in hand, spreading joy to all he came in contact with. Cory had a passion for fishing, but always reeled in people with his fun loving spirit. His incredible gift of caring for others and his humble hugs and “I Love You’s”, Cory Landrum was a very special young man that loved to fish. But he also had a big heart. He started fishing at a young age and never put it down. He would save his lunch money and get his mom to take him to Fish-N-Fever just so he could buy tackle. He fished in all the lakes and ponds around the house, anywhere the four-wheeler would take him. The funny thing is Cory did not like to eat fish. He would always catch them and then turn them loose. I can remember days when we would go fishing. Cory was the one who always caught them I guess I was just there for support. I can say he taught me a lot about catching bass. He would get up on the weekends and watch any bass show that came on television and then he would go fishing to try out everything he had learned. There were days that he would just go out in the yard and cast his reel at the smallest can and he would keep trying until he could ring it. after watching this video im going to learn to fish for bass and catch one for cory.
