RMD Trailer Safety Device

The self contained trailer safety device provides a means for preventing damage to the tire on a trailer when the leaf springs fail. The device also prevents the axle from twisting and keeps the axle perpendicular to the frame. Using an inflation device, the device is activated upon the failure of the leaf spring. The device raises the trailer frame in relation to the normal operating height and keeps the axle aligned properly to the trailer frame. The device is passive when not in use and only operates when activated by a leaf spring failure.     Yep…there are similarities between the mandolin and the Chinese instrument called the pipa….also, the Chinese have a type of fiddle as well…so when I’m playing in that mode, it probably does sound somewhat Chinese…
