What kind of boat to buy?

Me and my buddies want to buy a fishing boat. There are three of us and all the bass fishing boats that I look at have only two seats. One on the front and one on the back. Is there some other configuration or style of boat I could look at, or an easy way to add a third “fishing chair?”

Apparently you need to look at slightly larger boats. Nearly all boats I’ve ever seen that are bigger than “jon boats” are at least three seats. Technically, by Coast Guard rules, no one is supposed to sit in the bow seat while the boat is under power, so there has to be more seats in the passenger area.
Many fishing boats, including the one that I fish from (Alumacraft Dominator 1600) have multiple places to place an additional chair. You will have to buy another seat and pole, but there should be plenty of room.
