I am new to carp fishing. I have always fished bass. What is the best time of day to fish carp?

I always use the lunar scale as well for best fishing times and days of the month to fish. I was wondering if these apply to carp fishing as well. It seems like an entirely different ball game. I like the hunt with bass fishing. Carp fishing is all about patience. Something I will have to get used to… But any help would be appreciated.
To the person saying why would I fish carp. I moved down to Mexico. And the huge lake that is 5 minutes from my house and has no homes on it only has carp. I do take 2 hour drives to a bass fishing lake. But the huge lake here only supports carp since it is not very clean. And I don’t plan on eating any fish I catch fresh water in Mexico. High mercury content.
Not just El Salto. There are 5 of the best bass fishing lakes in the world here. Record is 21 pounds. The record at Zimapan which is close by is 18’10oz. So yeah, we have the best weather for them to develop, and Billy Chapman has done a good job of stocking florida strains and making a catch and release policy. Best bass fishing in the world I think, and all the records are here now.

In the local ponds I fish at I go whenever I can,any time of the day,any weather.Personally I haven’t had any greater luck at one time of the day or another.I enjoy carp fishing for the peace and quiet I get.Sometimes I’ll being a newspaper to read or a book.If you do that,just stay ready!
Why would you want to? Carp are a trash fish unfit for eating, why not try catfish instead? They can be caught 24/7

in the uk m8y,you who wanted to bow them would be lynched!! the carp is sacred in the uk+to kill one is the same as killin a person-CARP ARE NOT AN EATING FISH!
most uk anglers carry a rod-reel-tackle+a carp first aid kit! with the uk record at 80 lbs+the species makin a comeback in rivers such as the broads,its great sport+they can be fished for 24/ hours a day-they are like people-eat when hungry!!
where i live, in indiana, evening is probably the best time.
Try going more towards the evening hours or early morning.You can chum the area you want to fish with some canned sweet corn and use the corn for bait also.They are a blast to catch and most will fight harder than any other freshwater fish.To better help you out try checking out CAG.

in the Missouri river the best time to fish for carp is from 11:00am to 3:00pm and usually the best baits are catfish stuff, ham, bread, and cheese
Carp are really fun to catch and they grow to enormous size. Two bait recommendations for ya – corn on a small hook or they make carp powerbait that you can purchase. Fish for them most anytime, they cruise day and night. Best hours are probably 6-11 pm from my experience.
