So my husband has gone through two of these already – I have purchased them to “help him through” the seasons when fishing is not as much fun (snowy winter). He will play it for hours until the batteries run out.

This is a fun toy! I acutally purchased it for my father who is an avid fisherman, but is sick and facing surgery during fishing season. He has tried it out and it seems to be great fun. I don’t think it would please the younger crowd, or anyone for that matter, who is used to real “gaming” if you are looking for graphics, etc. But for the money it’s a good stand-alone item that will serve it’s purpose.

This was given to my grandson. He is 8 years old. He loved it and was kept enthralled for a long time. I don’t know if is is educational as I didn’t play with it. It is too soon to decide if it is durable.

It is a fun game for a fisherman or woman. The controls for getting from one lake to another is a little confusing.

This toy broke within 24 hours of opening the gift the reel does not work. Cannot exhcange as I do not have the information from Amazon any longer becase the gift was not opened until January 15, 2010 and I have misplaced the packing information was used less that 3 hours total before breaking
