wii fishing games, are they all they are cracked up to be?

hi, i am a fan of fishing and have seen there are two fishing games out at the moment for nintendo wii
they are Rapala fishing tournament and big catch bass fishing
i have never bought a fishing game a computer and would like to ask those who have played on either of these games, whether they are any good, anything like real life fishing, is it worth purchasing, and which is the best one to get
i would be very grateful of those who would care to spare there time and respond to this question because i really don’t know whether wii fishing games are fantastic or whether they are another waste of money

well to tell the truth im really not interseted in fishing games..well not alot but it looks like i would be fun especially for the wii using it as a rod and stuff
Yes they aren’t too great. It depends what game you get though. Wii games sometimes are created with better motion sensing than others. Rapala Tournament Fishing is a good one. But you should rent it at a Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and see if you like it.
yea!! i just bought a fishing rod and it came with a game and it is really fun. when you throw it in the water you see the fish swimming around the pole and then they bite the bit and the wiimote vibrates and you have to work to pull the fish in by reeling and unreeling the line. its really exciting
