A recipe for a home sound recording studio.?
What hardware should I buy to make a fully equipped sound recording studio from my home PC? I wish to record my guitar and synthesize drums, bass, percussion, piano and all the rest. As I figure it would take a good sound card and a rack synthesizer with a MIDI keyboard. Any suggestions?

You would better buy
“Creative Audigy” soundcard

I recommend using Pro Tools as the foundation software of your home recording studio. It’s the industry standard in recording, easy to use, and many studios have it; giving you the ability to create and collaborate with others. You can find a copy of Pro Tools at places like http://www.homerecorder.com for around $250. I also recommend reading this article to get an understanding of the basic elements you need for your studio: http://www.articlecube.com/Article/How-To-Build-A-Home-Recording-Studio/49379
After you’ve read this, you’ll be able to put together a studio with confidence. You can find great deals on recording studio bundles at: http://www.homerecorder.com/products/bundles/bundleresults1.html or http://www.proaudioforless.com Hope this helps! Good Luck.
