Any recipes for bass?

I am looking for a low-calorie recipe for preparing bass filet. I was just thinking about wrapping it in tin foil with butter, lemon, salt & pepper….

Any other ideas?

    I hope you mean sea Bass, fresh water bass tastes like crap, the way you were thinking about it is a good way

    Well that is about the best lo-cal you can get so i wouldn’t know what else to tell you. The only recipe i use bass for is Fish Cakes. That is a mix of the broiled fish taken off the bone..and mixed with potatoes, seasonings, and lightly cooked in skillet with olive oil. Other than that.. I don’t care for bass.

    If its fresh bass (with skin on) lay scale side down on a hot grill – spray butter flavor spray on it and salt & pepper – as it cooks – squeeze a little fresh OJ on it. Great taste – we did almost all our fresh fish that way

    Sea Bass Barbecue:

    Original recipe yield: 2 servings
    PREP TIME 5 Min
    COOK TIME 15 Min
    READY IN 20 Min

    INGREDIENTS

    * 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    * 1 teaspoon olive oil
    * salt and pepper to taste
    * 1 bay leaf
    * 1 pound fresh sea bass

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
    2. In a small bowl, stir together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Rub fish with mixture inside and out.
    3. Grill the fish over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
