Easy recipe for Japanese Sea Bass?

Anyone have an easy recipe for Japanese sea bass? It’s on sale at the local supermarket and I wanted to try it but wasn’t sure the best way to prepare it – I’ve never had it before – is it similar to chilean sea bass at all?

I just steamed some sea bass last week and it was great!

    Try this…

Add fish, cilantro, julienne ginger, sliced scallions, sliced chilis to steamer.
Instead of water in the steamer, use champagne (cheap sparkling wine rather).
While the fish is cooking, heat up some Oyster Sauce and some Sesame Oil on the stove (separately).
Once you plate the fish, pour the Oyster Sauce and Sesame Oil over the top.

    Enjoy!

try this recipe, my family loves it

    Barbecued Sea Bass

    4 sea bass fillets, portions
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    8 slices bacon, divided
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon lemon juice

Rinse fillets in cold water, pat dry and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika then set aside.
Place 2 slices bacon on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil, place a bass fillet lengthwise on each bacon slice
Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice over each fillet, then fold foil edges over and wrap securely
Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients to make 3 additional packets.
Grill packets over hot coals for 10 minutesthen turn packets, and grill for an additional 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
