Grilling game fish?
I have been catching some fish here lately and want to grill them. Catching mainly bass stryper/hybrids and crappie. Anyone have a good recipe for grilling outdoors these types of fish? I want to stay away from frying them as it adds a lot of grease and fat. Best recipe wins!

Sounds like you’ve been having some good fishing. Caught a 3.5 pound rainbow trout yesterday myself. Personally I’m a no muss no fuss girl when it comes to grilling. When I grill fish I keep it super simple. Oil the skin side of the fish (just a little swipe so it doesn’t stick to the grates) season both sides w/salt and pepper, slap it on the grill and let it cook skin side down until the flesh is cooked through. Then I flip it over just long enough to put the grill marks on it. Plate it up and squeeze some lemon juice on it. SO tasty.
BARBECUED BASS
2 lbs. bass fillets
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/3 c. lemon juice
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, crushed
Place fillets in a single layer in shallow bowl. Combine other ingredients and pour over fish. Let stand 30 minutes, turning once. Remove fish and reserve sauce for basting. Place fish on well greased wire grill. Cook 8 minutes on barbecue grill about 4 inches from moderately hot coals. Baste while fish is cooking. Turn and cook about 7 minutes on other side. Serve remaining sauce with fish. Yield: 6 servings.
