Fishing along the Guadalupe River is usually always pretty good, (except when there’s a million tubers on the water). There are
trout, catfish, perch, and bass. Just know after a rain the water is going to be a mess so seek out spots with plenty of vegetation or something to divert the water causing a pocket of cleaner water, that’s where the bass will be stacked up like cord wood.
Certain areas are great for fly fishing. Other areas are great for just
casting a line and waiting for a bite. Be sure to have your fishing license, and watch your limits, in case the Game Warden comes by.
