and i dont know if you know this or not, but earthquakes have been happening for many, many centuries. it shows absolutely nothing…

The Book of Revelation is about Christian persecution under the Caesars of Rome. It is not about modern times.
The things you mention are not unique to our times. Did you know an earthquake of 9.0 struck the central US in 1812? The world didn’t end then, and a smaller earthquake in Indonesia isn’t going to end it now.
And, yes, the glaciers are thinning and the sea levels are rising. But God isn’t doing that, we are.

I think less people will listen. I think many think that this “revelation” will not affect them. Unfortunately the signs are all around us and people just go on as usual with no regard for their salvation or the salvation of their loved ones.

of course the world will not take heed because they are following the broad and spacious road. however i would like to note that it would seem since the beginning of WORLD war I (1914) things have spiked considerably. i mean its really been in our lifetime that most of what is discussed in revelation would be having a fulfillment.
Because diseases and natural disasters have only just started occurring, rather than having been going on for thousands of years?

I don’t think non-Christians read Relevations and then check out to see if things are happening as John through the Holy Spirit prophesied them.
I personally think a more effective approach is to tell people about Jesus and the wonderful relationship they can have with God.
I agree with you that it should get people’s attention, but Relevations is a book that is usually only read by people who have already been saved.

A beached whale is sad, but there have been a lot more than just 3. You’re kinda/sorta on the right track though, the tribulation couldn’t start until the generation of Israel becoming a nation again, (1948), and a biblical generation is 70 years, giving us until 2018 for things to heat up.
Are you serious? A coronal hole?? Hit the earth?? You know that that is a hole in the sun’s corona, right? We can’t be hit by a hole… And earthquakes don’t normally happen? I thought with plate tectonics and all, we should be expecting major earthquakes all the time. Last I read, the total number of earthquakes has been decreasing, or is this a sign, too? And Blue Tongue disease, aka catarrhal fever, has a very low mortality rate in cattle. We should be worried about it because? Just wondering! Thanks!

Jesus himself told his followers that they would see the kingdom of God before their time on Earth was up. Since then, every generation of Christians has been convinced that they were living in the end-times.
They’ve all been wrong.
The Book of Revelation is not to be read literally. It was written in a style of writing familiar to the people living at the time it was written. It was written for the early Christians who were being put in jail, tortured and put to death. It does not speak about our times or the future times.
Religious nuts have been pointing to natural anomalies and predicting the end of the world since long before Jesus was born. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting. I’d take action to make sure the planet stays habitable for humans as long as possible instead.
You know, the symbols in the Book of Revelations is so misunderstood, it’s not even funny. It’s almost completely pointless actually, I’m finding.
