Jeff Bauer of the Carolyn Ann III said the blackfish bite was relatively slow this past week but codfish kept all anglers interested. They marked bottom water temperatures in 55.4 feet at 44 degrees. Bauer said just about all codfish were caught with clams over green crabs.
