Bass fishing in Arkansas?

I fish this lake called Lake Earling in Laffette county. I was wondering if the bass would still bite slow retreving plastics like babby brush hogs. I do not catch very many bass there any tips would be appreciated. What other baits should i try.

Thanks in advance.

    stick your tongue in water

  • The Wormist:

all your soft plastics should be working now. all year actually. as the water warms up, fish the boat docks and weedbeds. they’ll be looking for cooler, shaded spots.
use big black worms at night.
topwaters should be coming on good now too. shell out 25 bucks for a “rico” or just buy a couple rebel pop-rs.

Check your local fishing report. I recommend corn though.

Um i also recommend soft plastics. If it is murky dirty water i would use a darker color one. In the morning use a topwater lure such as popper, hula popper, or buzz bait. Frogs work really good in the mornings to. At sundown or night i use a dark crankbait. Hope i helped!!! Goodluck!!!
