quantum energy has to be the best fuckin reel i have love em to death! power fishin no doubt the way to go boss, like your style keep em comin!

  • BassinVlog25:

@bassmastersl8 no kidding… ice out is right around the corner… just a few short months away, then my social life is non-existent lol

  • bassmastersl8:

Yeah, being up north sucks when there is ice and you cant fish….

  • BassinVlog25:

probably hair jigs or suspending jerkbaits… key witht the jerkbaits being make sure you pause for a very long time, dont be afraid to pause for more than 30+ seconds

  • Pfluegerfishingguy:

hey im from Wi, what lures would you reccomend for bass right after iceout?

  • BassMasterKDuB:

yeah gerald swindle is good on the coosa river after those big spots but just like he said the weight will ether be in the spots or largemouth if the largemouth are on the spots will be put in the back of there mind

  • colbybassmaster:

@colbybassmaster im making the channel currently colbybasstour just gonna go over tournaments and stuff on it maybe get me in some tourny’s too should be cool

  • BassinVlog25:

College Bass fishing would be sweet… look out for UWSP… we are 7th in the national rankings right now and just won a major tourney on Sam Rayburn

  • colbybassmaster:

@colbybassmaster oh im making another channel just for tournament bass fishing like a vid every tourny starting with the 2010 classic-and some flw -and college bass maybe some of my tourny’s too +tips-techniques-discussion i will keep this channel just for fun fishing though

  • colbybassmaster:

@BassinVlog25 erie i dont really know but i was just putting some examples out there maybe not in february but maybe spring fall summer just mix it up lay lake 2times in a few years man i dont know im not like the west is better but it would be sweet to have the bassmasters come here more- records fell at clear lake i think they fish it in 2010 but not 2009 i think they should have a western series or atleast come here more i mean we got shasta/clear lake/delta/columbia.etc it would be nice

  • BassinVlog25:

it would be way to cold to do one on erie lol… idk I like this lake, I dont really like slugfest tourneys like clear lake and falcon

  • colbybassmaster:

@Fshrmn13 ya for real its great

  • colbybassmaster:

@trapordie87 its a good one to learn though absolutely necissary to learn especially if you fish near oregon california and a lot of eastern lake too theres not always gonna be a reaction bite good vid though 5 * i think they should bdo the classic somewhere else though mix it up instead of the repeats how about clear lake-amistad-falcon-lake fork-erie-shasta somewhere

  • Fshrmn13:

dood it is da bomb i have cought so many 3+ pound largemouth

  • WIBassWhisperer:

one thing i think helps is to not over work the rod…basically it seems to work better if u just let it sit on the bottom with the line tight instead of constantly twitching. the slight shaking of your hand and the boat moving with the waves is plenty to work the bait. also i think it helps to use gulp minnows or gulp leeches.

  • BassinVlog25:

haha, just like every technique, it does have its time and place like most rigs, like during a tough cold front for example, but for the most part I stay away from that technique and focus on reaction bites!

  • trapordie87:

How do you feel about the drop-shot rig? I hate it and find it never works!

  • factsoffishing:

Good vid! I love the football head jig

  • TheEliteFisherMan:

    great job man! 5 star!
ill be sure to mention u in my nesxt vids for ppl tocheck ouy ur channel,
    thanks man

    ttyl,
    mike

  • colbybassmaster:
