Best fishing lake in Raleigh, NC?

My dad and i are fairly new to fish and i was wondering what is the best fishing lake in Raleigh. we primarily fish for bluegill and bass. Please explain some of the best lures and techniques for that lake.

You should try Lake Johnson! It is pretty good but I can’t recommend any techniques because I don’t know what your fishing for sorry. But for bass, try using spinner bait, and for catfish use cut-bait!
