If I found out the Coast Guard was facebooking my ass instead of looking for them I’d kick them all in the nuts.
Great vid as usual, nicely done, and always a pertinent point, I think the facebook advantage is really out of line, big brother he’s watchin everything….

I actually think the Facebook search would be a good tool to use.

I don’t know that a fishermans truck being unnatended is anything to be alarmed about. unless it sits for 24 hours it’s not unusual. That said whenever a search ans rescue is underway it makes sense to search in all ways both physically and through the internet for the person but they shouldn’t wait until going online to actually search, start it all at once.
