depending on water clarity ,i ‘d rig a texas rig and try differant colors

I would fish near rocky areas or plants. My preferred bait are worms, minnows, and crayfish. You can use lures like joes flies or plastic worms. I will flag this one for the experts such as basspro, fisherking, and gimmename

I’m with redcore86. A little cover does wonders

  • Charles Slone (Newest One):

Virtually no one knows where this place is, but here’s a couple pointers for bass fishing overall.

1.) Don’t be afraid to fish around cover. Hey? You don’t want to lose that new X-Rap do you? Well, if you want to catch fish you have to sacrifice it sometimes. If you don’t, you look like a fool setting out with a million dollar bass boat, expensive lures and not knowing how to use them.

2.) Fish them edges! The edges of lakes are where bass like it, and if you pitch something in that looks tasty, bass will nail it. HARD. So, don’t fish open water, because most of the time you’re unlucky.

3.) And finally, match the hatch! The bass feeding on rainbow trout??? Get a pink, gray, blue or even rainbow trout colored lure! If it’s shad, get shad patterns!! Crayfish? Well, you get the idea.

    Hope i helped ya out.

If you need any more Q’s answered, just send me an e-mail, and I’ll give you the best help i can.

I agree with Charles all bass are the same no matter where you are so any thing that you have confidence in and have caught fish on before I would try first. Then as always match the hatch. You can never go wrong with a plastic worm or lizard rigged Texas style.
