The water in Georgia is not cool enough but maybe by next month the White Perch and Bass will start biting…can’t wait
Move out to California and fish year round!
Try crank baits and vary your retrieve a lot. Make it seem hurt and stop some times, then take off quick.
i have never went fishing…sorry i cant help u
man at least youve cought something, ive gone fishing like 9 times and never cought anything.
the trout are hitting well in the mts of Colorado below 9,000 feet
I’m going to Lake Fork this weekend….(Texas). You can catch a fish with anything there, even a beer bottle with a fish hook duct taped to the side. Check it out, there was a bass caught there over 18 lbs.
gigging those shads would help but nets trot lines are better.
Yes I have & I believe it’s a combination of luck, skill, determination, & patience & the fact that I have found the mother load (as one angler has said) with Bass,Bluegill, & Carp in the pond I fish in.I’ve not had the pleasure of fishing in Jersey,(though that may change soon)but what seems to be different fishing in the fall there as opposed to other seasons? Whatever luck you had before now I would continue trying. If that doesn’t seem to be doing it for you then hopefully another angler (in your area) can help you out.The main thing is,don’t give up & keep on fishing!
I just went fly fishing Sunday, I caught a few rainbows. One a good sized. It seems like every weekend they want a larger fly and a darker fly.
It’s been rather slow the past two weeks around here with the weather fronts coming and going. I went today for a little while and fished off the bank, since it was like 5:00pm when I got out there. I got three little hitd throwing a 3/4 oz black spinnerbait with a willow blade. Afterwards I switched to a lipless crankbait (1/4 oz) and caught one out of two hits. The fish probably weighted a little over a pound, lol.
Right across from you in PA the water is still skinny and the trout are still wary. Small blue wings and caddis.
The Smallmouth fishing has been very good in the Susquehanna,I actually took my spinning rod (don’t tell S_M_C or Exert) and had a great day using Mepps black furys, rebel crawfish and my beloved flatfish. Worked rocky shoreline points and drop-offs, I would bet (but not on the Chargers) that similiar tactics would work on the Delaware as well.
Fishing in the fall season is where Im strongest…man i was wearing them out here in Alabama…10 L-mouth bass(one quality size) in a couple of hours
Half a dozen blues last weekend. Try fishing for striped bass in the salt. They should run really heavy down your shoreline anytime now.
