How do I raise a baby minnow sized large mouth bass? I have a 55 gallon tank and wondering what to feed it?
I was wondering what to feed this fish at such a young age? I know what to feed it when it gets bigger but now at a minnow size. Will it eat tropical fish flakes or what? And does anyone have any other tips on raising a bass?

i have recently caught minnows in a creek and have been feeding them goldfish food and they have grown quite a bit so i would say goldfish flakes
The only thing I fed mine were gold fish. Mine started off about 1 1/2 inches long. Then it grew rapidly, especially after eating goldfish as apposed to flaky foods. I had 4 altogether. They are very territorial and kill each other. Leaving me with one! They can eat a goldfish way bigger than themselves, so don’t worry about the size you buy. Only buy 1 or 2 goldfish to put in the tank at a time.
hey , ya the flakey foods dont work on minnows because i caught 14 at a river and 2 died from the flakey foods , and it makes the water dirty , but i would try goldfish food because i fed mine tropical fish flakes and they liked it but they stayed small and i got so mad that i almost fed them to my betta fish , lol but ya i would feed it goldfish food…because now i have 12 and they like the goldfish food and they grow fast while eating it!
Also can you send me a picture of them , my email is cheyanne_curry@yahoo.com thanks
