This time of year I’d be fishing deep water with jigs, plastic worms, and the occasional spoon. Bring a medium/light spinning rod, a medium/heavy baitcasting rod, a medium action baitcasting rod for sure. For the medium/light spinning rod I’d tie a drop shot rig with a 1/8oz weight and a 4″ cut-tail worm. For the medium/heavy baitcaster I’d tie on a 1oz silver spoon. For the medium action baitcasting rod, tie on a 1/4oz jig with a 2″ trailer.
Examples of lures I recommended?
