Largemouth Bass night fishing tips.?

I’m pulling an all nighter with a couple buddies.

Do Largemouth bass even bite at night?
What kind of lures should I use?
Any special tips about night fishing?
Also where do they go at night?
Deep in water, heavy cover or what?

i actually went to a lake the other day and only caught the bass at night. get there as it is getting dark with a BLACK BUZZBAIT not to big, a smaller size i´s better. cast along the banks and edges. at night, bass go to their beds like us. their beds are along the bank. make sure u have a full moon, this is because : if u notice, at night the surface of the water looks silver if the moons out. that is why u use black. they also see the surface as silver, so the lure must be black to stick out. a lot of people dont understand that. thats why u use a WHITE buzzbait in the daytime. if u dont know how to use a buzzbait, ask someone at a´fishing or sporting goods store. now, the onlöy fish in deep water at night are catfish and carp, tht is because they feed at night(actually 24/7 but mainly at night) but bass dont bite at night from hunger, but from aggravation. u cant sleep with a noisy little `frog´as they see it, swimming around u.buzzbaits work best, but u can alsö use a heddon tiny torpedo. dont use poppers. they CAN work, but a buzz and a torpedo leave a bubble trail the bass follows to find the lure, but a pooper is harder for them to see. so when u cast along the banks, do it under cover, trees, etc. also, during the day, scope out where the beds are. even if they are empty during the day, they will be inhabited at night. so i hope this helps. if u have any more fishing questions of any kind, email me at mpendley93@gmail.com happy fishing

Yes bass do. you just got to find there homes. right off the bank or in stumps is usually where they live.

I would use a darker crankbait or crawfish.

be sure you go slower at night to bug the piss out of them. because fish just hang out in there little home. hope i helped and goodluck!

You and your buddies better eat your Wheaties. Big bass are known to turn on at night. I would start shallow because water has cooled a bit and they start to feed and cover is always good too; stumps, grass, pads etc. Use black and dark color lures. Like the others said I would go with some topwater and buzzbaits. Also go with a black 10” Zoom Big Ol’monster worm. When I use to night fish in Florida my other go to bait is a black and blue jig with a matching black blue plastic craw trailer. Always keep a finger on your line since you can’t see your line in the dark. Good luck watch out for snakes.

All you need is a big black plastic worm

    8″, 10″, even 12″. 14″-16″ would be even better.
