    dropshot?

  • exbassguide:

most of the bass hit the lure as it is falling or resting on the bottom. I pull in the bass with the shaking of the lure then they hit it on the fall

  • ballafishie:

do the fish pck it up off the bottom and do you pop it like 8 time then let it sit for 10 seconds

  • 1barnabus1:

  • TheFishingGuy1:

    how did you rig it?

  • cheeba1994:

hey roger where do you fish and in what state

  • fox13z400:

Is that a 4 inch sanko? Cause sankos r my favorite lure for bass!

  • ady12mike8:

heres a little hint for the pre-spawn…. instead of using the senko, try a hair jig … 1/8 oz. in black… throw it and drag it verylowly on the bottom. smallies LOVE it… I’ve had 200 fish days on ‘em.

  • panthrosan:

I do the same thing. I cast it out there and slowly retreive it with moderate shaking of the tip which makes the Senko dart from side to side. I normally fish the 4 inch in Purple with flakes or the 5 inch watermelon.

  • exbassguide:

    Around The Dalles Oregon

  • dashit503:

  • portlandstatekid:

    there’re several techniquies i’ve yet
tried out on the water learning from
    what you share!

keep the learning videos coming especially
    the “fish on” ones!

I do drag but almost never do the lift the rod – glide a senko. For me it is not nearly as productive. But in your hand it may work fine, but for me shaking is MUCH more productive.
    Thanks

I fish senko type baits unlike >95% of the fishermen out there! I use weight when fishing senkos most of the time (depending on the waters depth). I also shake the senko and I have great results compared to fishing other methods. I also fish senkos many differant ways! Tezas, drop shot, split shot and wacky. I mostly fish the 3 inch senko for large mouth and small mouth bass. Small senko type bauts catch big bass!

Is that a senko type plastic you are using. How do you usually fish it? I cast it out let it drop, wait, then lift the rod tip, reel and repeat. What is the best approach?
