2 feet wow nice but i don’t think you did that in a creek or a pond iv caught a 28 inch in a lake but i was in Canada yes it was a small mouth and hes look at me right now on my wall
2 feet large mouth happen man… only 24 inchs thats a trophy one.
2 foot large mouth? yeah and i caught a 650 pound shark on a worm
i use crankbaits with floralcarbon line and it works every time once i got a 2 foot large mouth by just my small crankbait.i fish in a area with small weeds and alot of fallen trees and u suggest u fish around 5:00pm or right after it rains or early morning these time are perfect because thts wen they hunt!!!!!
Gets hotter and the bass wont want to bite.
That’s why when fishing in August or something when the water temp gets near 90 here, it is VERY hard to catch fish
why is it hard to fish afternoon?
Yea, ive noticed that fishing one spot repeatedly does get strikes. When im fishing toppin water frogs over thick weeds ill cast to the same pot 4 or 5 times and often times youll get one on the 4th or 5th time..
so then the pros that catch fish at noon, obviously are just bringing them into the water from another spot.. You sir are a complete and total idiot. I guarantee, you and I fish the same spot, you only in the morning and evening till dark, and ill take the rest of the day, then lets see who will actually catch more fish. Is it harder to fish in the afternoon? YES… But it can be so much more rewarding.
my buddy knows how to play bass!
I would not say that this is wrong. I would say though, remember that this is a tip from another Angler, giving a tip. Which he is trying to give a usful hint or idea or a basic practical fact. Being that this technique He is using probly works on alot of other places not saying that there is no exceptions to many techniques on certain bodies of water. With that said giving this tip credit and actually trying this out .See what your results are on many different bodies of water.
Rock*
WRONG!!
OR… you just fish all day and catch nothing because God hates you.
i think big bass spinners fail
I know this is a tip, But you should be fishing in that shaded area where the tree’s are across from the rack wall
log syump or close 2 weeds
I always had more luck on the rip rap at the dam side of the lake, black spinner bait at start of night and top water (usually buzz bait) right before dawn, though I have had good luck on humps with a carolina rig with a black worm. Again towards the dam side of the lake.
I love when people post fishing tip videos where no fish are caught. Completely disproves their theory! The best time to fish in the summer is very early morning and at dusk into the first couple of hours of night with topwater.
how many casts do you recomend to use befor changing a lure if your not catching fish
try this i catch a lot of fish with it no need to get plastic worms buy bait holders (hooks) and for bait nightcralwers hook the in the middle so that the hook is covers and u will get fish no weight is needed ok piece!!!!!!!!!!!!! try it
if u can see the fish a senko wud prolly be the best
do you think that a spinnerbait would be good to use around a log or stump? what is your favorite lure to use around logs and stumps?
like i wrote in the comment under this one, it all depends on the elements, say it’s 6pm and 95 degrees out and sunny with water clear, and fishing like u described, i’d run a carolina or texas riged soft plastic dependding on water depth, and make small slow jerks to the rig, and remember, BIG bass usually are loners and tend to stay to themselfs
depends on alot of things, as far as plastics go, in summer after spawn bass do deeper or find cover, i’d use a weightless Carolina plastic and i never go by brand..as far as ur topwater question,…early in the mornign or real late in the after noon, but ihave caught bass on a top water chug at 4pm in the middle of aug. try a (red shad color power bair 7″) carolina riged
what do you think would be best to catch a big bass on when you are fishing under a tree and by a log or stump?
thank you
