what plastic bait should i use for summer Large mouth bass fishing?
Also how do i fish this lure (techniques)? what type of hooks? any weights needed? where do i fish it?(deep water, shallow, clear, murky, etc.)

6 inch scented worm, bullet sinker at front, you want to hook the point into the worm so its weedless, and drop it over the edge of weedbeds, in not so deep water. If you are in deep water maybe try a crayfish bait bounced along bottom.
This link will connect you with information on every bass lure made and how to fish it

The link goes to the plastics you are interested in.
Plastic worms, lizards, and tubes are all great summer time bass baits.
For the worms and lizards I like throwing 7.5 inch texas rigged with a bullet weight at the head of the bait. Google texas rig if you’re not familiar with it. When fishing with these you want to throw out into whatever cover you can find be it stumps, weeds, docks, ect. Let it sink to the bottom and raise your rod tip from about a 9 o clock position to a 12 o clock position all the way in, let it sink to the bottom each time. Also don’t reel up the bait itself but the slack in your line after raising your rod tip.
For the tubes I normally throw about 5 inch rigged the same way (Texas Rig). Fishing these is a little different than the worms and lizards. If you get out to the water that you’re fishing and theres tons of heavy cover with bass feeding you can work these like a jig. You throw these in the same spots as mentioned above but instead of just raising your rod tip you want to jig it and twitch up and down off the bottom all the way in. Like above, dont reel in the bait itself but the slack.
The colors all depends on the water and weather conditions. Generally if its a cloudy overcast day youll want to throw darker colors like purple, pumpkinseed, black, ect.
On the brighter sunnier days natural and brighter colors are good: Shad, chartruese, red, ect.
Finally for the hooks. It kind of depends on the size fish that you are catching as far as the actual size of the hook goes. For texas rigging plastics go with a gapped hook. They’ll have a rounder image than a normal hook. They do well when fishing plastics.
Burning a crankbait is my favorite for summer.
