If you had to fish with a yahoo pro who would it be and where would you fish?

I know I asked this before but since more people will be coming on the hell with it
First of all I will take Chad and his family to visit Pheasants tail and we will be flyfishing with pigeons tails on our head.
While they are busy I will go fishing with givemename and FisherKing to check out the bikini contests in FL and bass/alligator fish all day
When they are asleep I will stop by Backwater Charlies place and fish/spear carp for the remainder of the night and well drive all the way down to visit Art. Before we fish we will pick up Brandon in Tequila Mexico for some good old whiskey and fish in the Pacific for a few days.Nathan S will tag along and bring binoculars and the tackle for fishing and checking out the scenary.

Art will drop us off at the airport and then will visit FishSteelhead and head out to the river to catch his lunkers that he has been saving us all year long
Josh and Trigger will distract them while I sneak away to fish with Injun. Well be heading to the Lousiana forest to catch crawdads and lunker catfish. Wormist and GrandMaster will drive us to Texas and will fish for some Bass with Texasjig.

By that time anyone else that I forgot to mention will find out and well all fish together.

  • Chadd:

Well hell, you’ve just about covered it — but can you really imagine meeting up with all these tournament pros, guides, and “ole fishermen” and tripping with them for a few days each? Fishing in twenty different places on both oceans, in the Bahamas, in all manner of warm Southern lakes and rivers, sweating it out in the Bayous, fly fishing in the West, ice fishing in the Midwest, carp fishing in UK canals, pier fishing for God-knows-what, casting from every kind of watercraft with every kind of lure and bait and rod, and what about that guy T-Bone in Florida who catches all the sharks and has those great photos on Flickr!? Not to mention what you could learn about other fishing-related skills like boating and fly tying. Steelhead, big Alaska rainbows, redfish, walleye, wipers, stripers (and the occasional stripper), northern pike, eels, halibut, salmon in all their varieties, marlin, big-ass bass (smallmouth, largemouth, spotted, black, peacock, etc. etc. etc.), tuna, hand-sized bluegill, monstrous catfish, maybe an octopus or two, LOTs of crawdaddies, funky Florida exotics… and that’s BEFORE the exaggeration you add in after you get home.

I mean if you just took the top 10ers in the Fishing section and fished, say, 3 days with each one — just in their native habitat, nothing outrageous — can you even imagine what a month that would be? The mind boggles.

EDIT: Wormist, regarding the second idea in your answer… maybe try fly fishing ok and good luck on the idea.

  • Backwater Charlie:

Grand Master Basser & me would hit up some big Largemouth’s in Spring at Lake Castaic; The Wormist could sit in the truck or pack all the gear.

With pheasant tail, I would go to one of his fly-fishing hot spots and maybe he could learn me to fly-fish!

Fisher_King and me would go and catch some Smallmouth’s up North.

redheat & me would just spend the afternoon soaking bait or tossing lures for Crappie or Bluegill.

chimp dancer and me could go Saltwater fishing for multi-species, and learn me a thing or two.

  • Nathan S:

I would be honored to fish from the back of all your boats. I want to bring everybody’s attention to Fisher King headed for that 1000 best answer mark, I am not worthy enough to strip the old line from your reel.

  • gimmenamenow:

I can’t keep track of where everyone’s from, jeeze… y’all just meet me down at the causeway and we’ll do a caravan tour of shore and wading spots on the north end of the Indian River Lagoon… bring some shoes you don’t care too much about and whatever tackle you want, I’ll have my ‘yak and my father’s pirogue (for someone with more ball and balance than I have) and the little gheenoe… anyone who’s got a little paddler can bring theirs, and there’s a kayak rental here in town, we’ll do shore lunch on one of the spoil islands, start up at haulover for some reds, mangroves, sheephead and such, hit some more reds on the flats and get some seatrout, hit the causeways on the way down for more snapper maybe a few black drum, some more sheephead, work our way over to the Port for some flounder, and on down to Sebastian Inlet and try for some snook… nothin’ special, just a little tour of one of the most diverse waterways in North America, even if we get skunked, we’ll see manatees, dolphins, alligators, osprey, maybe a few bald eagles, it’ll be fun, don’t forget your sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

(and you took what I was just gonna ask…)

Oh, and you fly fishers, don’t worry, there’s people who fly fish down here, too, might not be what you’re used to, but it’s done…

  • wana bigger bike:

I want to go fishing with chadd..im getting the idea he lives somewheat near me and he would be able to help me become a better fisherman.

  • steve s:

If you ever get up around the Pacific Northwest BC to fish, these pristine waters have plenty to offer fresh or saltwater. Or perhaps just some info for fishin spots around Southeast Tx and La. my old hometown fishing spots. Been fishin all around this country.lol… 40yr exp Pacific Northwest guide

  • The Wormist:

wormist is glad to be invited anywhere.
but would love to go fish charlie’s carr creek lake with him and kick his butt on carp and crappie.
ANY of you care to fish casitas for a day or two, contact me or my fishin buddy GMB and l/we promise to not hold back on any of our hotspots (lukewarmspots?) sorry, it will be bank fishing unless we get together and rent a boat.

    BUT…
l really think it might be enjoyable to go flyfishing on the idea with “just asking” on one of my favorite trout streams, Piru Creek.

  • Artie:

I am always the driver…. No worries but i would love to see a gathering on suspected good days for all sections of the country to all get together (in our neck of the woods) and run a mini tourney for all the questioners and answerer’s and Worm King and GMB let’s do it. I would love to poke away the day from shore at your lake. I can camp in the van and we could meet for breakfast at the launch diner.
