what to bring up north?
I am going to norther wisconsin with my mom to Poupart Lake. My mom’s friend’s family has cabins on the lake. It is in the Lac De Flambeau area in Vilas county. I love fishing and plan to do a lot of it, but my mom sais I can only bring three poles. I am going to be only bass fishing (large mouth and smallmouths).
Of these 4 set ups which three should I bring?
6’6 Medium Heavy cabela’s Pro IM6 series with a quantum response baitcasting reel spooled up with 8 pound cajun red monofilament.
7′ foot heavy action Abu Garcia conolon premiere series with shimano sahara 2000 spinning reel with 40 lb power pro braid.
6’6 medium action Gander Mountain Classic IM7 Guide series rod with Abu Garcia carndinal 502ALB spinning reel and 10 pound copolymer flourcarbon coating P-Line
7′ Berkley cherrwood graphite rod medium action with Gander Mt. Guide series spinning reel.
The lake has a lot of those underwater standing weeds and there are lilly pads all around the lake. There is also quite a few trees in the water. I fish a lot of soft plastics, topwaters and plan on some crankbaiting.

All of them except this one:
7′ Berkley cherrwood graphite rod medium action with Gander Mt. Guide series spinning reel.
Nice setups.
All but the last one.
Been some yers, But I belive it might still be a good crapie lake. So I would go with a light, rod, and small rapalas,& spoons,& a selection of worms, for wallie, pike, As for bass ? We fished the edges of the weed beds for crapie.
Hit ‘em with all of the above.
