if you had to pick one outdoore store for all your fishing needs what would it be? Acadamy, bass pro, wal mart, etc.?? Id go with acadamy, i think they even got better prices than walmart!
oh my goodness how do yall not know about acadamy? the best fishing and hunting needs supplier ever!! And theres always pretty girls there my age working! but theres this one, she goes by acadamy girl!

For Everything you may need you can’t beat CABELAS although they are pricey at times but just go to a store and you’ll see what I mean. They are also nation wide. I live in Michigan and never heard of Acadamy I do allot of my shopping at Wal Mart for basic terminal tackle though.
I would go to Bass pro or Cabela’s because they have a little of everything.

when i was living in texas,yes academy was my store of choice.now that i am somewhere else and we have no academy,bass pro is my choice,since there is a store 50 miles from me one way and 100 miles the other way.

Howwwwwwever, Walmart be the getum’ quick store for other fishin’ needs, terminal gear, line, leader material, hook’s, weights, etc., etc., the price is great and one saves MEGGA $ bucks + NO Shipping and Handling!! If ya’ don’t know already, S&H is a killa’ and sometimes it’s more then the actual item itself!
Not familiar with Academy…
I can’t pick just one! But none of the big stores ever I want to support small guys cuz I was a small shop owner!And the major points to many small shops is that they get first hand info on some of the best tackle,baits and where the fish are biting tips.
The guys at Half Hitch tackle are real good ppl,Debrooks,A-one,Castaway and so on!
