Beautiful day on the water. Looks like you caught some pretty nice Bass. Fish on!
Northern Minnesota….near Duluth. We will be locked up in ice for a couple more months also.
where the heck are you? i drove through tennessee, what a beautiful state. tons of spots right off of highway 40.
great video, awesome looking fish. im up here in syracuse NY all iced up, another month and a half and it will be back on. peace thanks. nate
i also live in az fishing is great hear
so tubes r good for fall i live in arizona
Chose your colors based on water clarity. You really can’t go wrong with a black jig….I like a black jig & trailer with a some blue flake to it. I use the baits and colors above for all lakes in the fall. My top 4 jig trailers…..
-10″ Berkley Power Worm
-Case Plastics Charlie Chunk
-Case Plastics Sweet P
-Case Plastics Medium Salty Trailer
i have a few crank baits, and plastic worms. How do you go about choosing colors? I know the water type something to do with it.
This is what I have rigged for fall….
#1 – 3/8-1/2oz custom jig/trailer (big & bulky)
#2 – Texas rigged tube (blue craw from ebait)
-White Spinnerbait with willow blade(s)
-Wacky rigged Big Magic Stik
-Crankbait
i just started getting back into fishing this year and ive been getting a few bass. Im still tryng to figure out what bait works.
Smallies and Largies will bite until ice up. I don’t fish rivers much but I do know guys who chase them until ice up also. Your looking for a few good bites and most of the time they are nice fish.
so bass still strike in the fall? is it just lakes or rivers too?
true that
thanks.
My two fall baits are a 3/8oz Jig and 10″ Berkley Power Worm and a texas rigged tube (blue craw from ebait).
hey man. what are you fishing with? Please respond. Thnks
Cool vid, some nice fish man! Great choice of Fade To Black by Metallica too
Fishing is the shit! It’s almost as good as sex…..almost.
good vid, its always good to see other people who also love to fish!
great video. wish illinois had lots of lakes too
i’m a member of BASS
Will do. Thanks.
Welcome to MN! Lots of lakes to choose from thats for sure. I’ll keep posting vids as long as I am on the ice and water. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
Too small of lakes to be putting the names out there. Both were about an hour southwest of Duluth.
Great video, what lake are you fishing?
Im moving from Georgia to Minnesota. Looking forward to all the great fishing. I hope you will post more vids. I could use some pointers on cold-water fishing. I’ve never caught perch, walleye, musky, pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout, or salmon. Can’t wait!
