This lake is in Northern MN. Near Eveleth about an hour north of Duluth. We were using crawlers and berkley gulp crawlers on a carolina rig.

I have had great luck with crappies on pleasant lake as well. I have however had much better luck on Ely lake with crappies and much bigger crappies too. Check out our Ely lake video. Just off of differding point. Good stuff. I grew up on Pleasant lake and the bass fishing there is great. So is the Northern fishing.
why would waste your time bass fishing at pleasant its an awesome crappie lake if you wanna catch bass go to ely lake.
use berkley power worms or berkley gulp worms. hook through the head and slide worm up on to top of hook and then put the hook into the tail. This way it makes it almost weedless. This is only one bait. Spinners also work well and so do shallow running rapalas. Good luck!
hey guys what kind of bait would be the best for large mouth tht i can buy at a bait store? btw i live in massachuttes if that helps in anyway
