yeah, I rescued a 5inch one form a kid. I feed it earthworms and goldfish, even though i have goldfish,

  • 5tonyvvvv:

earthworms yes,but not the other stuff, also theres no nutrition in most pet store food, thats why wild bass get sick, they need alot of minerials in there diet.its like eating mcdonalds everyday,u will eventually get sick.

  • 5tonyvvvv:

very true, also feeder fish have no nutrition,,wild bass need lots of minerials to stay healthly,,its like eating mcdonalds everyday,,thats why they get sick.

  • 5tonyvvvv:

really i feed mine 6 inch night crawlers from bait shops…my last bass died, cause the some feeder fish at pet stores carry diseases, and contain no nutrition, wild bass need lots of minerials to stay healthly..but nice tank!

  • grahamnachos:

    they wont eat dead food

  • pghHunter:

sweet. it would be cool to have a big tank with all th north american gamfish species like a crappie bass bluegill and a bullhead catfish. i know the diet of a bass in the wild, but do you think it would be okay to feed it freeze dried bloodworms, krill, and occasionaly an earthworm?

  • Bigmanghs03:

Seriously though do you quarentine your feeders!! They carry bad parisites sometimes!! Great vid though love the bucketmouth!!

  • Guitar5525:

Man, 55 gallons is way too small for a bass, especially a large mouth. 200 gallons is the absolute minimum for a largemouth.

You should feed him carnivore pellets bloodworms, blackworms, and earthworms. Never feed live fish unless they have been quarentined for at least 2 months. Live feeder fish carry so many diseases, your bass could be infected with 20 internal parasites by now. You can feed feeders, but buy a separate tank to quarentine with.

    Nice vid though.

  • 13dominio:

I try to feed them at least once to twice a day

  • Devinn23:

1 last question, how often do you feed them.

  • 13dominio:

I usually feed them feeder fish or there called “rosies” that you can buy at a local pet store for like 10 cents but they will also eat worms but they have to be only about an inch

  • Devinn23:

Cool I like the decor also, Im also plannin to set up my own tank with bluegill and stuff. What do you normally feed them?

  • 13dominio:

    its 55 gallons

  • Devinn23:

    How many gallons?
