damn! was this in japan? i thought japan dont have much big bass?
they put this guy through polygraphs made his life impossible for 6 months, then they come up with a bullshit rule it has to be 2 ounces heavier to break the record. meanwhile george perrys bass was caught 70 years ago and probably weighed on a rusty fruit scale at the local woolworths vegetable stand using potatoes to balance it.
he shoulda have used a bait that was 2 ounces heavier… he woulda got the reccord not tied it if the fish ate it =-(
