This was actually posted in the local newspaper. I can’t quite figure out if they’re lying or just plain stupid. Whatever the case, They’re the laughing stock of the NE fishing sites. I hope your delicious 20″ broiled Bass was worth the embarrassment of tens of thousands of people seeing you two half-wits in action.
I f that’s a 12 lb bass then you need to bye a new one because your scale is off by about 7 lbs . At the most its 5 or 6 lbs. My biggest bass was just over 6 1/2 lbs & was 22″ long
I’ve been an avid fisherman most of my life , and havee caugh a lot of fish 20 inches or more not one have come close to 12 lbs.
in order for a 20 inch fish to be 12 lbs it would have to have a 36 inch girth ,thats genenticly impossible
in the newspaper it says it was 20 inches long, if you use one of the weight calculators, that would mean that the bass had a girth of 36 inches…. absolutely absurd, this is no larger than a 5 pounda, maybe the next time i catch a five pounder i should call the news and say its a state record….. its absolutely hilarious this showed up in the paper, id like to know while scale was used to measure this one… take a lap

there is no way this fish is 12 lbs. maybe 4lbs. this is bullshit
