Hi gonein7, thanks for commenting. Yep, that guy is a wacko! Actually I kind of get real excited when I see someone using something that I created to catch fish with it. I wish I could hit “redo” & say less, but now I know for next time to zip it. But watching a video without commentary is kind of boring & what would the public do if they didn’t have something or someone to comment about…

I recently added the Pen Rod Extreme Front Drag Combo to my collection. It’s in your price range and I really like it. The spool holds a good amount of 4 lb test tri-lene, the drag is click adjustable and it gives me a nice cast. Going after some carp right now with it, wish me luck.

which pen rod should i buy for under 20-30 bucks?
The only pen rods ive seen are only 32inches long. the rod you were using was at least 5 feet.
