@feboater Take your father to Buzzards Bay in Massachusetts and head over to Scorton’s ledge.

The whole month of June should be dynamite! Fish in the 20 foot to 28 foot range and be sure to take some Viper Spoons and T-Turns with you if you plan on trolling or drifting. If you are going to jig, use the Boa Jig’r.

Thanks for tuning in – send our best to you father and good luck on the water!

@Redsoxxx927 Sizes SP1, SP2, SP3 & SP4 will all work for sea bass, and we like to use the SP3 or SP4 for the bigger ones.

When rigged with a strip of squid, or an artificial worm, the sea bass seem to really attack the Viper Spoons. IF we had to pick one size, we would go with the SP3

Thanks for writing in and good luck on the water!

  • Redsoxxx927:

@ts1771 Which charter boat would you recommend for sea bass fishing?

  • Redsoxxx927:

What size viper spoon should i get?

  • tdawg598:

    @stockedmuscle try shimano

  • thundermistlures:

@stockedmuscle Try a 7foot Ugly Stick (spinning rod). This should work for you.
Thanks for your comment & good fishing!

what is the best fishing pole, not for baitcasting, but for catching decent sized bass in rivers and lakes? i need a fishing pole for a large lake that is behind my house, and i know it is crawling with bass. i have caught a decent sized one, but i need a fishing pole that can go far and deep. shakespeare is good? or ugly stick?

caught 18 keepers in less then 45min out in these waters today

  • shadoofbaby2009:

well that makes sense if they had the clam or eels. i thought you guys were talking plain spoons. Tog will occasionally bite a minnow or something like that, but they usually stick to crustaceans.

  • thundermistlures:

Yes Viper spoons work excellent for flounder & blues. Check out our fishing tips site for tips on how to set- up the Viper Spoon for these fish. In short, for blues you may just flat line your Viper. For flounder, use a 3-way bottom drift method. Again, this imformation will be given on our site which will help you.
Thanks for asking & good fishing!
