I think you can basically use anything and catch bass on it if the location you are fishing at has little or no fishing pressure whatsoever. Meaning, if hardly anyone fishes there, the bass don’t know anything and will bite anything.

nailed a 4.5 yesterday and a couple of 2′s on a white and chartuesse strike king spinnerbait

@07HONDA400EX07 hey thanks for the advice i tried smaller spinnerbaits this weekend and i caught 9 bass 5 were over 3 pounds =]
its probably too big for them if your catching bass off roostertails, try getting a smaller size spinnerbait and see what happens.
i cant ever catch bass off a spinner bait where i live can some one tell me why or what im doing wrong. i catch bass off roostertails all day long though. (im only 14)

Sweet bass! The largest bass I have caught was about 16 inches. Maybe I can do better with a different spinner bait. What kind were you using? And where in Oklahoma where you at?

Chartruess n white spinner. I am in western ok and the pond im on is tiny but we never take any fish out and the bass range from small to 6 or 7 pounds. There are also crappie in this pond. To look at this pond is not as pretty as other ponds i fish here but this is always good for a couple of good ones each time out. Where do i find Oscars fishing forum?

about a 3-4 lb bass on ure fist cast with a new rod thatsy pretty mpresive

I dont know the water temp but i do think it was a shallow feeding female, i have caught others already in the same area. What temp should i be looking for? I have never really got down to it like that ive always just gone out and fished, but as im getting older im trying to learn more about the science of fishing.
