Catch More Huge Fish

This big Brown trout was caught using the Universal Flycasting Rig. Buy yours at: bestfishingsecrets.com

I went to a neighborhood pond about an hour away, and I caught the largest bass in my life. I decided to string together all my video’s and pictures from the fishing trip now that I found a video editor. In this video you will see a couple fights, an attempt to catch bass w/ a topwater frog, I filmed for like an hour and only got a couple bites on the frog but couldn’t hook them, I really wanted to create a topwater frog video, I thought for sure on this lake I’d catch them with the frog all day… All together I caught 6 or 7 different bass. After the bluegill clip I caught all those bass in like 15 minutes one after another, a lot fell off and didn’t get hooked but the ones I show…two are 18+ then the other is medium, and the final big one is 21 inches, I don’t think I ever caught one that big, so this was a good fishing day for me!

You and me are about tied. Hahhaa Mine was only 19.5″ though and barely hit the 5lb mark. Used a Chompers skirted doubletail grub. Anyways, nice catch and hope you(or I) or both of us catch a 10lber some day.

  • redscarf11:

nice bass i got one about that size today in a pond to it seems all the big ones ar ein small ponds,i read about ur topwater frog incident u should use a stanley ribbit frog and toss it on the bank and reel it out to where its about 2-4 feet deep.

  • ScuderiaBirel:

  • carag001:

  • USAfan996:

Where in Aurora is that lake? Please tell me!

  • USAfan996:

    Good job!

  • soadjt:

hahahaha yeah i know, thats why i landed this guy, I just switched over to 60 lb braided line, now when i catch the big ones they don’t snap my line!!!

  • AKAsoupcan:

An Extra Heavy baitcasting rod with braided line increases my hook-up ratio by about 75%. Just a thought.

  • soadjt:

i was near Aurora. I live in elk grove, so it was about an hour or so away for me. just a neighborhood pond thats hardly fished, and where no one takes fish out

  • edmundohillary:
