    3:05 2 1/2 to 3 lb. at the most…not 4

  • crazyfin2:

I think the shiners are the best bait to use, however small bream and shad work well.

  • christophersboy:

SHINERS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!

  • crazyfin2:

I catch the shiners local using a can of cat food and a cast net.

  • polerigger:

get a gun and shot some alligator!

  • crazyfin2:

Check with your local bait shop, I’m sure MS has shiners available. Summertime bass are usually in deep water except for cloudy days or late or early in the morning. Fish around cover (grass, wood, rocks) and you should be good to go. Best depth depends on the area. I usually use 3 feet as a starting point.

Eagle Claw 4/0 circle hook. It gets the bass in the corner of the mouth almost every time.

Winkiedoodle, Thanks for the response. I was fishing in 2 feet of water around an old tree stump under the water.

  • Winkiedoodles:

Crazy, that was a very nice video, thank you. I saw your floats are only a foot or two above the shiners; are the bass in weedbeds or hydrilla? Nothing happening in my neck of the woods (Ozarks of MO)yet. Winkiedoodles
