Great video!! Live bait is always the best no matter what. What kinds of lures or jigs do you use to catch heiring?

  • warlockshredder91:

i live in the same spot as scfisherman 91 can you give me some tips also we both fish at the same dam

  • seeinstripes:

I use a 1/8 oz jig with a grub. Wither a tube jig or a curly tail. They are aggressive and will eat anything at times. It’s not uncommon to be able to catch 300 or more of these in a day.

  • redscarf11:

what lure did u use to catch the bait?

  • stankrell:

I usually Buy Herring or Catch them in my castnet but how do i catch them with a rod an real i’m thinking a sabiki rig or some sort any tips

  • stankrell:

Go below Lake Murray to the dam Great striper fishing with blue back herring their or fish in front of the main bridge it a under water current that the stripers hang out around but you need a boat an Live Herring

  • Matttzzzzz:

    NICE

  • seeinstripes:

They’ll bite best during generation. They have to eat sometime, so keep tryin.

  • SCfisherman91:

nice video! we’ve got stripers below the dam where i catfish, but i can never get them to bite, not on shad, shiners, or even those 4 inch bass minnows you can buy from bait shops. i usually go striper fishing on lake murray sc. if you’ve got any tips, id appreciate it.
